Stress

JOYCE:

Why do some people seem to thrive on stress?

FEAR:

Some use stress to motivate them to do things they do not want to do. They create the stress because they do not believe they will get it done without the stress driving them.

JOYCE:

What is your definition of stress?

FEAR:

Well…stress is always motivated from my voice.

JOYCE:

This is the definition of stress…A tension from opposing demanding circumstances. A crisis of values, meaning, and purpose. A misalignment in one’s core spiritual beliefs.

Does this fit YOUR definition of stress?

FEAR:

Stress is the physical manifestation of the war taking place energetically inside a person.

JOYCE:

The same war as the war created from which voice to listen to?

FEAR:

Yes. I feed off of this stress.

JOYCE:

How does stress give you food?

FEAR:

It’s all about energy. When a person is stressed their energy is not contained. It is scattered in every which way outside of themselves. This scattered energy is what I feed upon.

JOYCE:

I don’t like the word feed I’m going to replace it with the word use. Can you use the energy of a person that is not stressed?

FEAR:

I use the word feed because it is exactly what I do. I receive nourishment from a persons stress…hence feed. I receive no nourishment from anyone who is not stressed.

JOYCE:

Why is that?

FEAR:

Only when stressed will a person’s energy radiate outside of themselves. This energy is no longer a part of themselves for their own use.

A person not stressed contains this natural energy. It is available only for them to use as they deem fit. I have no way to break through the barrier calmness creates. I am unable to feed, or as you prefer to say, use any of their energy for my own nourishment.
